✦Documented Narrative Involvement
Much of Luka's history is assumed rather than known. Any attempts to speak to the subject have resulted in less than successful information being gathered. His altered mind state and the shattering have left communication limited.
During the documents events of the war between Adern and Savidor, much of the mage Varos' records were lost on the battlefield. High Commander Voss' field reports detail a fire that consumed many enemy tents, Varos' included. Field Captain Varne's accounts corroborate, adding that many efforts were taken to extinguish the flames and it was not known at the time the tent's owner. Any speculation as to how the fire started - stray mage blast or knocked over lamp - was not included.
What is known is that Luka was experimented on young, at least 7 years young. Luka became the Monster of Savidor - an unpredictable weapon of mass destruction and chaos. While the depth of the experiments was lost in the fire, the effects of the experimentation are obvious - an altered mind state and painfully grafted magic that drains much life and strength.
After his capture by Garrick Voss and the Second Order, everything changed for Luka. The truth of his origin recast him in a new light, and Garrick and his inner circle have taken to caring for him while searching for a way to stabilize his magic and save his life.
Many still have difficulty reconciling the Monster of Savidor with the boy Luka. Many more still consider mercy a kind of betrayal to the people of Adern. His continued existence and protected status under the Crown has prompted many debates.

✦ Physical Appearance
Maeve has made comments to Luka's height being intimidating. However, as noted from personal observations, it is difficult to establish exact measurements. His posture is fluid and he sometimes moves like a way creature, though Maeve assures he has actually improved.
One eye - ruined by the magefire blast that led to his initial capture - remains scarred, sightless, and pale. the other is amber, simmering with grafted magic. Scars track down his entire right side: shoulder, ribs, hip, and part of his thigh. His face bears a significant impact where he was struck. Maeve's records share Luka avoided the worst of it, possibly twisting out of the way last minute. It has left a pattern of wounds most people find difficult to look at. It is also a testimony of how quickly Luka processes movement and information in order to avoid losing his life. Garrick calls it uncanny.
What physical traits can be see - paler skin and lighter eyes, thin nose, and sharper jaw - can be traced back to Savidorian descent.
✦Addendum - It is important to note that Maeve's height lacks any significance. While she considers him tall, he is not much taller than herself.
Most of his physical abilities rely on speed and quick thinking.
On another note, I agree with the assessments of Healer's Maeve, Reynold, and Jolen regarding Luka's physical traits. They match with all records concerning human and known of the known creatures of this world. Further consideration of origins must take this into account.
✦ Temperament & Disposition
Observations have seen the results of his devastating childhood - Luka remains hypervigilant and easily startled no matter Garrick's raising. Yet, that does not seem to curb the curiosity and explorative instinct the boy seems to possess. His instincts often drive how far he will take his explorations. A feeling of safety, for example, usually require extensive investigations. Luka has grown affectionate towards the Voss' and their household, and rightly so. Trust has been established between them. Despite all of his growth, however, he remains mainly food-motivated.
✦Addendum - Luka proves also to be highly competitive by nature. I have fallen in debt one sweet treat losing at rock-paper-scissors.
✦ Capabilities & Known Talents
Primary Strength -
Survival instincts; he reads danger faster than most trained soldiers, and his instincts are often razor sharp.
Secondary Talent -
Rapid adaptation; mimics behavior to understand the subject and is frighteningly good at it. With this comes the ability to read people well, especially Garrick. Luka often takes notice of Garrick's attitude towards others and interacts with them accordingly.
Notable Flaw -
Deep rooted mistrust; his fear of people remains one of his primary instincts. It can heighten his survival instincts and create a paranoia. Once someone proves untrustworthy, it is nearly impossible to gain trust back. The only known recorded regain is Riven's.
Notable Weakness -
Sensory overwhelm; sudden loud noises, crowds, sudden movements, or too many conflicting stimuli can shut him down or trigger panic responses faster than he can control, and instinct drives him to draw upon his powerful magic.
✦Addendum - When I first met Luka, he gave me a wide berth and would only approach after gentle coaxing. Garrick advised engaging him in a challenge. Luka's fear was largely set aside once he learned he could win something.

Garrick Voss -
"The Stern Man" ; the first person to earn Luka's full trust. Luka looks to him for support and anchoring.
Maeve -
"Soft Hands" ; the first to engage with and recognize him as human. She gave him his name. Luka enjoys making her flustered.
Edain Glennan -
"The Silver Female" ; Luka's play partner. She engages him in many physical challenges and supports his competitive nature.
Riven Hawthorne -
"The Angry Man" ; Riven's initial relationship with Luka was founded on fear. The only person to ever reclaim a positive relationship with him after subverting trust is Riven.
Veylan Caelan -
"The Magic Man" ; Luka showed initial fear, but their relationship evolved after Veylan abandoned his robes in favor of making him comfortable. Veylan is a mentor and hopes to one day discover how to stabilize Luka. Currently teaches him how to control and endure.
Fenric -
"The Smiling Man" ; dubbed such after smiling far too much for Luka's liking. However, he is the fastest to win Luka's trust. His secret? Bribery. That and Garrick's respect. Luka trusts who Garrick trusts.
Gregor -
"The Old Man" ; consistent and steady presence, ready to reward of re-educate. Luka adores him.
