Someone thanks your character for something they don’t remember doing.
The gratitude is sincere. The consequences are...interesting.

Welcome to the group!
Stories don’t always arrive fully formed. Sometimes they need a nudge. A question. A single sentence that refuses to let go.
Starting this week, I’m launching a weekly writing prompt series, posted every Sunday afternoon. Each prompt is meant to be a spark—something small enough to feel approachable, but open enough to let your imagination run wherever it wants to go.
You don’t need to be a professional writer. You don’t need credentials, confidence, or a five-book plan. If you feel the itch to create, you’re already qualified.
If a prompt speaks to you, take it. Twist it. Break it open. Then, if you’re comfortable, share what you made in the comments. I’d love to see how many different stories can grow from the same seed.
Any comments or links that contain or link to overly graphic material may be removed at the site owner’s discretion. The goal is to create a safe space for writers.
These weekly prompts are meant to keep creativity moving, even on weeks when writing feels hard. They’re also a chance to connect—reading different interpretations, sharing feedback, and discovering new tools or voices along the way.
